Don White's Full Length Zoom Concert to Benefit the Byfield Community Arts Center

Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m.

The show is free. There will be a virtual tip jar. Any money donated will be split between Don and the Cat in the Cradle.

Don White is a familiar face to Cat in the Cradle audiences. There is no one-word description for what Don White does. He’s an award-winning singer/songwriter, a comedian, an author, and a storyteller. He’s been bringing audiences to laughter and tears for thirty years, released ten CDs, three live DVDs, and a book, Memoirs of a C Student.

This event will be interactive – meaning that Don and the audience will be able to hear laughter and applause as it happens. There will also be a question and answer session with Don for those who want to stay after the concert.

Seating is limited within the virtual platform for this show. Please sign up  here  and you will receive the Zoom Meeting ID and password the day of the show.  We will be sending out a reminder about show on Wednesday.

Amplify US! Virtual Community Workshop
Wednesday, April 8, 2020, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM EST

With the recent social distancing due to COVID-19, it's been difficult to connect to our communities. Creatives have been working hard to reconnect and find fun ways to continue to share. Our goal is to continue to meet our mission to educate, empower and engage our community members. So as a team, we've decided to take our Amplify US! Initiative community workshops virtual. The Amplify US! Initiative is a collective of artists and arts organizations including Story Tapestries, Arts on the Block and Capfire Arts. The Initiative delivers free multi-generational workshops for anyone in 7th grade or older who would like to learn to better express themselves and tell their story through art.
